A Message From Educational Tours President

I founded Educational Tours as an educator for educators. My goal as a teacher was to provide students the best learning opportunity possible from educational travel. When I went from a teacher sponsoring trips to starting my own company I knew we could be the very best student travel provider. That is how our business started, and how it remains. We will help your group accomplish its goal whether your curriculum dictates historical, cultural or environmental objectives. All our tours are designed with teachers and students in mind.

“When I started Educational Tours my idea was to be the kind of company I would want to trust my students or my own children with."
Ed Lattin, Founder & President

My ET Story

Educational Tours - Learning Adventures & Lifelong Memories through educational student tours
As a social studies teacher, I sponsored numerous student trips to Washington, D.C. and other historical destinations. I was inspired by the enthusiastic response of my students as we toured our nation's many historical museums and memorials. As I gained insight from organizing my own trips, it occurred to me that there were other teachers like myself who could benefit from this experience. It was this realization that gave birth to Educational Tours in 1982.
Being a former educator, I believe I understand both the teacher/sponsors' and parent/students' perspectives, and I understand that time is limited. When you call on Educational Tours, we value your time. Our team will take care of the necessary details to make your tour a successful and fun "learning adventure" for your students.
We have sustained substantial growth over the years since our inception with a small group of clients from local schools. Currently, we service over 250 schools throughout Florida and the United States. Along the way we have grown our team with a professional staff that share my enthusiasm for travel and commitment to customer service and satisfaction. I am pleased to say we have remained true to our mission of providing memorable educational experiences for our customers.
The tours we offer have also grown to include a wide variety of exciting cities and historical places. Check out the Destinations section here on the website for the most popular student travel packages. For more ideas on trips, or to learn more about out team, see the What’s New Blog here on the website where we post information on new and exciting developments in Educational Tours.
If an Educational Tour would help put a plus in your curriculum, give us a call or submit a Request for Info. We look forward to serving you.
